The Health Services Department is proud to introduce our team of on-site Employee Assistance Program (EAP) psychologists. All staff members are licensed in California and bring extensive experience in both mental health and workplace issues to LLNL.

Kay Gorsuch, PsyD

Manager of EAP and Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Kay Gorsuch, Psy.D. has the privilege of leading a great team in the EAP in their effort to increase the well-being and productivity of the workforce at LLNL. As a licensed clinical psychologist, one way Dr. Gorsuch helps clients is by focusing on improved communication skills with both individuals and couples. Her approach is directive, utilizing cognitive behavioral techniques. Dr. Gorsuch also enjoys working with leaders when questions arise about how to address behavioral health concerns in the workplace.

Allison Delorefice, PhD

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Allison Delorefice, PhD is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She has been with the Employee Assistance Program since 2023. Before joining LLNL, she worked for Kaiser Permanente and the Department of Veteran’s Affairs. Dr. Delorefice utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. Although she considers herself a generalist, she has expertise in treating anxiety conditions. She facilitates the Anxiety Management Series and co-facilitates the Caregiver’s Support Group at LLNL. Dr. Delorefice is dedicated to mental health education and outreach, providing presentations and creating mental health-related promotional materials for the lab community.

Jacque Martin, PhD, is dedicated to supporting LLNL employees and their families as they navigate life’s challenges. As a licensed psychologist, Dr. Martin brings over 15 years of experience providing Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services and management consultation. She works with individuals and couples, helping them gain insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and guiding them in developing effective coping strategies to enhance their well-being. Through a collaborative approach, Dr. Martin fosters a supportive environment where clients can achieve personal growth and lasting positive change.

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

With over 20 years of forensic and clinical experience, Randy Kolin, Psy.D. has been a psychologist in the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) since 2015. Dr. Kolin enjoys working with and supporting the mental health and well-being of LAB employees. He utilizes evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, to help individuals manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other emotional challenges. Through compassionate listening and practical guidance, Dr. Kolin assists others in developing effective coping strategies, improving communication skills, and building resilience, to meet each person’s unique needs.

Dr. Sanders provides compassionate, empathetic, and solution-focused treatment, helping individuals develop effective communication skills and practical strategies for navigating difficult situations. His approach is centered on fostering resilience and promoting overall well-being, ensuring employees feel heard, understood, and empowered to thrive both professionally and personally.
